SPRING SONG (Chris Foster)
I searched for a song about spring for ages. I was surprised to find that while there is a plentiful supply of songs about events that happen in the spring, I couldn’t find one about spring itself that I wanted to sing. Eventu¬ally, I broke the habit of a lifetime and wrote my first ever song.
Hail the hum of hedge and hive, it’s good to be alive...
